What inspires us to cook? I say, people. I cook for people…. friends, family yes and also total strangers. Inspiration is all around us. To create, to give, to learn. Food! My favorite pastime, aside from designing, is seeking out new recipes with foods I've never cooked with, restaurants that have just opened up. The whole experience of cooking and eating is more exciting to me...more than a movie or a concert! It’s about pairing unusual food groups in unique ways or rediscovering a different way of looking at the tried and true. It's about restaurants with amazing atmospheres and unique cocktails, and a wonderful aroma in the air.
