Make Your Own Pizza

Amid the panic everyone has been cooking up a storm. Maybe it’s a new recipe everyday. Maybe you save the big cooking for the weekend just to be nostalgic ;) and IG it like an event. OR maybe your just tired of all the suggested recipes landing in your inbox (that you don’t have all the ingredient to make even if you wanted to). Maybe your sick of the chore it has become to prepare three meals a day…for you..for your family. So maybe you slap some pizza dough down and reach into the fridge or cupboard and everyone can make there own pizza. No recipe, No Fuss…take a break. It’s just pizza. At the end of the day...it's bread with whatever ingredients you have or want.

INGREDIENTES
MÉTODO

Gluten Free Pizza Dough:

Dry:

2 cups all-purpose flour (10 ounces; 280g)

1/2 tbsp xanthan gum

pinch of salt

1 tsp baking powder

Wet:

3/4 cup lukewarm water

1/3 oz actrive dry yeast (1 packet)

1 tsp sugar

1 sbsp olive oil plus more for oiling the proofing bowl

Make the pizza dough:

1. In a large bowl, mix together all dry ingredients.

2. In a smaller bowl, mix together all wet ingredients.

3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and mix until you get a very sticky dough.

4. You can turn the dough onto a work surface and use a bench scraper to work the pizza dough for about 2 minutes, or if you are using your mixer just put the Knead attachment on and work for 2 minutes.

5. Place the dough into a well-oiled bowl, cover with cling film and allow to proof for 2-3 hours.

Preparing toppings :

It's all about what you have on hand or what you wan to use.

Assemble:

You need to have some sort of sauce at the bottome, yes it can be as simple as just drizzling olive oil. But you can do a tomatoe based sauce or a pesto...it's your choice

Start layering your pizza with toppings

If you are using individual pizzas on a large baking sheet or one large pizza it's going to be about 17-19 minutes in the oven at 420f

Once the pizza is golden brown let it rest for 5 minutes and serve it up! Done and done.
